Dear Tatiana,

Hello! How are you doing? I sure hope you are doing well. So tell me, how much candy did you accumulate on Halloween? Take your time eating those candies, and remember too much of anything is not good. Have you been to the movies lately, that new movie, Happy Feet looks funny. Hopefully you can see it soon.

Tati don’t forget that the 27th will be Su-yen’s birthday. I know you will make her a nice card. Tati remember you can call Victor and Lola whenever you want. So if you want to talk to them, just ask your mom to make the call for you. I know they both would like to hear from you.

Now listen, I recall when I was young there was a story that I heard. I like the story very much because of what the story teaches.

One day a duck went up to his friends, the rabbit, turtle and fox. The duck first went up to rabbit and asked her if she can help him bake a loaf of bread, the rabbit said no. Then the duck went and asked the turtle if he can help him to bake a loaf of bread and he also said no. The same was asked of the fox and he also said no. Then the duck went to the grocery store to buy the ingredients for the bread and after he bought it, the duck went home to bake the bread. After the bread was baked, the duck put the bread by the window so it can cool down because it was very hot. That was when rabbit, turtle and fox saw the freshly baked bread. So the rabbit, turtle and fox went and asked if they could have some of the bread, but the duck said, “No, because when I asked all three of you to help me bake the bread you all said no”. The duck ate some of the bread and saved the rest for dinner.

The end.

Tatiana what I want you to know is that nothing in life is handed to you, whatever you want you have to work hard for it plus you can’t expect people to help you if you are not willing to help yourself. I Love you very much and I miss you, hugs and kisses.

Love, Papa.

Mei, how are you doing? Hope all is well with you and the rest of the family. Here are a couple of passages for you to read. 1 John5:1-5, Ephesians 4:22-31, Colossians 3:12-17, Romans 12:9-12, James 4:1-12. Take care, I miss you and Love you all. God bless.

How can you lead when you can’t follow?
