Dear Tatiana,

How are you doing? So now that summer is almost over, are you ready to go back to school? Grade one is going to be a lot different from kindergarten. You will be learning so much more in grade one.

When I last spoke to you and your mom, she told me you now go to the Y.M.C.A. I am very happy to hear that and to know you are also trying to learn ballet. Did you know your mom at one point wanted to also take ballet classes, but I guess she did not want to do it as she got older. You see, ballet is something you have to start learning at a very young age. So Tati, I am still waiting for the letters that you said you are going to send me. It is not good to tell someone you are going to do something, but then you don’t do it. Try to keep your word at all times if you want people to believe you. So try to mean what you say and say what you mean, alright baby? Oh, by the way Tati, I love the way you laugh. Tatiana, I want you to be very careful when you are out playing with your friends. Don’t play near cars and look both ways before you cross the street, OK angel?

Tatiana I want you to remember with God all things are possible. So in everything you do or want, if God wills it, then it shall be. I know in your mind there are a lot of questions you want answers to. I know one question you want to know is, “Where is my papa”? I want you to know that where ever you are I am always with you in spirit, just as you are always with me. When I say that I miss you, what I mean by that is I miss holding you and seeing you. But in my heart is where you will always be.

Hey Mei, it was good talking to you the other day. I want you to know that I will always love you. Continue to take care of yourself and “play” safe.
