Dear Tatiana,

How are you doing? Summer is finally here. You must be looking forward to playing with your friends in the neighborhood. You can wear your skirts now, as long as it is not too short. How is school? Is anybody bothering you? Remember to always tell your mom if anything is wrong, she is there for you. Speaking of your mother, do you know this week was her birthday? I hope you got her something nice on her special day. Hey Tati, ask your mom if she can count how many gray hairs she has on her head. (ha ha ha)

I was thinking the other dey that I don’t know some of your favorite things and you don’t know any of mine. For example, what is your favourite colour? Mine are black and navy blue. My lucky number is four because four makes a strong foundation. You will understand when you get older. I also love music and traveling. There are a lot more that makes me who I am, and by the grace of God you shall get to see for yourself. So I hope that when you do write me back, I want you to list a few of your favourite things in life.

By the way Tati, have you learned how to spell your last name yet? Remember I plan on asking you how to spell Onigbinde whenever I talk to you again. Have you read that passage from the book of Psalms? I hope it is not too much to ask honey, I just want you to be spiritually ready for whatever life brings your way.

Tatiana here is a prayer that would be good to say before you go to sleep at night. It is a prayer sooner or later you will need to memorize. The Lord's Prayer:

Our father, who art in heaven, hollow be thy name

Thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it

Is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive

Us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Be good and be safe.

Love, Papa.

P.S. Tati I want you to know that there is more to Easter than chocolates and bunny rabbits. It’s a biblical celebration.

Our third eye is so significant but we fail at times to take heed to the warnings, we get caught up in the heat of the moment.
